Idiopathic calcinosis cutis of the right iliac region: Common lesion at uncommon

چکیده

Calcinosis cutis is an uncommon soft tissue lesion characterized by the deposition of calcium salts in skin or subcutaneous attributed to a wide variety causes. We present case idiopathic calcinosis adult male, who presented with swelling right iliac region. Chalky white aspirate and amorphous basophilic granular material on microscopy suggestive deposits were noted. Histopathological examination excised mass coupled appropriate clinical background led final diagnosis cutis. this complete diagnostic workup undermine importance considering differential diagnoses hard lump otherwise healthy patient.
